Group MAP sessions are designed to help your nervous system settle in a structured, gentle, trauma-informed format-without requiring you to share personal details.

Available Formats

Zoom (virtual)

In Person at the North Whidbey Center for Wellbeing

Zoom Privacy

When joining by Zoom, you may:

  • Keep your camera off

  • Use a chosen name / initials

  • Participate quietly (speaking is optional)

  • Respond in the chat if you want

At times, I may invite simple feedback (like a rating). This helps me understand the group’s overall response and guide the session in real time. You will never be asked to explain your rating or share your story.

In-Person Format

In person is very similar to Zoom in tone and structure: quiet participation is welcome, and you are never required to share personal experiences. The main difference is that anonymity isn’t possible in the room.

Bottom Line:

Group sessions do not require sharing personal stories.
